Huawei officially launches a new Matebook X 2020 which has similar specifications as compared to Matebook X Pro from earlier this year but the only thing which makes it stand out from the earlier version that this is the first windows laptop to feature a pressure-sensitive trackpad. Huawei calls it Free Touch, which is inspired by Apple’s Force Touch trackpad on MacBook. It is capable of detecting various pressure levels and even provides vibration feedback.

- Huawei Matebook X supports a 13 inch (3000*2000) pixels LTPS LCD touchscreen with 3:2 aspect ratio.
- It is powered by 10th Generation Intel Core i-7-10510U processor paired up with 16GB 2,133Mhz LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD.
- The body is made up of magnesium-aluminum alloy and it weighs only about 1Kg. Also, it measures only 284.4 x 206.7 x 13.6 mm in dimensions
- It also uses a fanless heat dissipation system
- Other features includes 4x speakers, 2x microphones, Pop-up camera, fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 2 x USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, 42Whr battery, and support for 65W fast charging.

It comes in four colors namely Frost Silver, Interstellar Blue, Green Mountain Daisy, and Cherry Blossom powder. The new Huawei Matebook X will be available for pre-order starting August 19 and will go on sale from August 24. It is currently limited to China only.
